👨🏫 What's the difference between Teacher and School plans?
Teacher ($15/mo) is for individual teachers - up to 5 classes with 30 students each. School ($49/mo + $5/seat) is for institutions - unlimited classes, multiple teachers, and per-seat billing for students.
🏫 How does the School plan per-seat pricing work?
The School plan has a $49/month base fee plus per-seat pricing with volume discounts: $5/seat (1-30), $4/seat (31-75), $3.50/seat (76-150), $3/seat (151+). For example: 50 students = $49 + (50 × $4) = $249/month. You can add or remove seats as your class size changes.
🔢 Can I upgrade from Teacher to School later?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time. Your existing classes will be preserved, and you'll gain the ability to create organizations and have unlimited classes.
👨🎓 Do students need their own Pro subscription?
Students in a Teacher or School plan class get access to course content through the class. They don't need a separate Pro subscription to participate in assignments and track progress.
